Gracie's Army Holiday Toy Drive 2024

As our foundation works to shine the light on pediatric cancer, we also worked to be a light during the holiday season by delivering toys to our warriors and their families across the country. Thanks to an abundance of gifts donated through the Gracie’s Army Foundation Holiday Toy Drive, and with extra support from the Montville PBA Toy Drive, we were also able to visit children at Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack Meridian, Goryeb Children’s Hospital at Morristown, and Newark Beth Israel.
Gold Out at Montville High SchoolMontville High School supported Gracie's Army Foundation in September 2024 during its Gold Out football game. The student section was a sea of gold with so many students and Montville-supporters buying shirts from the Gracie's Army Club. The home team ended with a win - and a win for pediatric cancer awareness.

Meaning to His Miles
On Nov. 3 our friend and supporter Joe Huber ran the New York City Marathon – his 150th Marathon! We were honored when he chose Gracie’s Army Foundation as a way to give meaning to his miles. Through his incredible network of supporters, he raised more than $15,000 for Gracie’s Army Foundation. We look forward to continuing our friendship with his organization, Montville Sole Mates. We are celebrating with Montville Sole Mates Sweatshirts and hope to see our friends spreading our message to be the Light in the Fight against Childhood Cancer.

Go Gold 5K!More than 500 runners came together in honor of September's Pediatric Cancer Awareness month at the Gracie’s Army Foundation Go Gold 5K and Fun Run on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 8 a.m. The official USATF course-certified race will began and ended at Montville Township High School in Montville, NJ, where dozens of corporate sponsors and hundreds of individual supporters will take to the streets of the surrounding neighborhood in this inaugural run.
“We hope that this race is the first of many that will bring together cancer survivors and their families, community supporters, donors, and champions of our cause,” says Dina Ferluge, founder of the Gracie’s Army Foundation. “The outreach surrounding this event will shine a light on childhood cancer, and the money raised will go directly to specific families in need of support.” In attendance were be local officials, business owners and families of the Gracie’s Army “Warriors” who are navigating the world of childhood cancer. Gold is the national color that represents pediatric cancer and bright gold ribbons and clothing create a visual awareness. |
