Basia
Basia is a vibrant 5-year-old little girl that was just recently diagnosed with a rare pediatric cancer called Rhabdomysarcoma. As her family navigates this new normal, we want to provide their family with the most support in these early stages. As of now, her treatment regimen consists of 10 straight months of chemo with no break. This alone is taxing on her body and she needs all the encouragement and hope to get through it all without pain and suffering.
In April, she begins proton radiation therapy while she undergoes chemo. Having to do two separate therapies in two different locations, this will no doubt be challenging logistically.
We hope that the community behind the Gracie’s Army Foundation can lift the burden of these obstacles off their shoulders.
