Amarachi, Age 15
Amarachi is a NJ teen diagnosed with stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma (a soft tissue sarcoma affecting the muscles attached to the bones) in January 2024 at 13 years old. She bravely completed 12 months of VAC chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, but unfortunately her cancer has recurred.
Chemotherapy is no longer working, so Amarachi will be heading to St. Jude's to begin their T-cell trial. Amarachi is a competitive horseback rider, honors student, and artist. She has been an inspiration to all as she continues to find joy in horseback riding the moment after she has recovered from treatments. She has also continued to receive high grades in school during treatment, which is a testament to her tenacity. We will be supporting her by delivering gift baskets and hanging out with her. Hopefully we get to meet her horse, Marti!
